Uzbek new alphabet keyboard for Windows
Alifly Klaviatura converts what you type into the new Uzbek alphabet on the fly, in any program — Word, Excel, Telegram, your browser: sh → ş, ch → ç, oʻ → ö, gʻ → ğ. Type with ordinary letters — no hunting for Ş, Ç, Ö, Ğ.
Windows 8, 10, 11Version 1.0.4Downloaded 6 timesFree
How it works
- 1Install the program — «Oʻzbek (lotin)» is added to your Windows language list.
- 2Press Win+Space and pick that language.
- 3Type as usual — letters turn into the new alphabet right as you type.
- sh → ş
- ch → ç
- oʻ → ö
- gʻ → ğ
- a' → aʼ
Capitals work too: Sh → Ş, SH → Ş. You can type a plain apostrophe (') or ʻ; an apostrophe after a letter becomes the tutuq mark (ʼ): aʼlo, maʼno.
Try it
Type in the current Latin script. Once the program is installed, you get this same result as you type in any program.
Installation
- 1Download and run «Alifly-Klaviatura-Setup.exe». No administrator rights needed.
- 2If Windows warns you: «More info» → «Run anyway».
- 3The installer adds the «Oʻzbek (lotin)» language to your Windows language list, next to your English, Russian and other languages.
- 4Switch to «Oʻzbek (lotin)» with Win+Space (or Alt+Shift) and type in any program.
- 5The program runs in the tray by the clock: click its icon to change the mode.
The program is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn about an «unknown publisher». That is expected: click «More info» → «Run anyway».
Modes (in the tray menu)
- Avtomatik — Converts only while «Oʻzbek (lotin)» is the active language. The default mode.
- Har doim — Converts everywhere, whatever language is active.
- Oʻchiq — Converts nothing, but the program stays in the tray.

FAQ
Does the keyboard work in Word and Telegram?
Yes. While «Oʻzbek (lotin)» is the active language, the letters you type are converted to the new alphabet on the spot in any program — Word, Excel, Telegram, your browser.
How do I type a plain «sh»?
Press Backspace right after the conversion — ş turns back into sh. If you will be typing that way for a while, switch to another language (for example English) with Win+Space, or set the tray mode to «Oʻchiq».
Does it need internet or administrator rights?
No. It works offline (internet is used only once a day to check for a new version) and installing does not require administrator rights. Administrators can install it silently with «Alifly-Klaviatura-Setup.exe /S».
How do I update or uninstall it?
Updates are automatic: when a new version is found, the app downloads and installs it itself. Uninstall: Windows Settings → Apps → Alifly Klaviatura (or «Alifly-Klaviatura-Setup.exe /uninstall»).
Will my existing keyboards change?
No. The program only adds the «Oʻzbek (lotin)» language to the Windows list; your English, Russian and other languages stay as they are. Conversion works only while «Oʻzbek (lotin)» is active (unless you choose the «Har doim» mode).
